Inspired by sculpture stands found in artists’ studios, the Atelier Counter Stool – With Backrest is defined by its plank legs, which reveal the natural beauty and character of the wood grain. A gently curved backrest provides comfortable support while complementing the stool’s sculptural, gracefully flared form. Horizontal stretchers anchor the silhouette and feature distinctive through-tenon joinery. The curved footrest is secured to the ends of the stretchers with solid brass hardware, adding a subtle, refined accent. Each Atelier Counter Stool is handcrafted to order in the Summer Studio workshop in Los Angeles.
